First and foremost a hearty thank you to all of our active military members and veterans out there. Your services is greatly appreciated. Also a big thank you to your families and their sacrifices for our country as well. There are a few special deals for military members this weekend to honor you.

 

Blue Star Museums : Free Entrance To Museums Across The Country - Blue Star Museums once again are offering free admission to active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day, May 30, 2011, through Labor Day, September 5, 2011. There are many participating museums in WA.   Go here to find a list of all participating museums by State.

 

Free Entrance To Silverwood Theme Parks - All Military, Police and Firefighters will receive free admission Memorial Day Weekend when they show the appropriate ID at Silverwood’s front gate (5/28-30th). Immediate family members (spouse and children) also receive a discounted admission of ½ Price General Admission ($20.99 ages 3 & up).

 

Hands On Children’s Museum, Free Entrance For Military Families - Military families get in free–just show your military ID! Free admission is on 5/30 from 10:00am to 5:00pm; Free Activities: Create Star Garlands to send to the troops.

 

Northwest Military.com has a line up of Memorial Day events honoring the fallen around Great Puget Sound area.
