Today is the first Thursday of the month. That means there are many museums throughout the Puget Sound offering free entrance today.
Visiting museums can be pricey. Some of those listed below would cost my family upwards of $40 to pay full price, so I highly recommend taking advantage of free museum days.

MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND INDUSTRY IS FREE FROM 10 AM TO 8 PM
SEATTLE ART MUSEUM IS FREE FROM 10 AM TO 9 PM
THE MUSEUM OF FLIGHT IS FREE 5 TO 9 PM
SEATTLE ASIAN ART MUSEUM IS FREE FROM 10 AM TO 9 PM
THE WING LUKE IS FREE FROM 10 AM TO 8 PM
KIDS DISCOVERY MUSEUM IS FREE FROM 10 AM TO 4 PM
HENRY ART GALLERY IS FREE FROM 11 AM TO 9 PM
NORTHWEST AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM IS FREE FROM 11 AM TO 7 PM
The Burke Museum 10 am to 8 pm
Another great option to get into many museums for free is through the King County Libraries. If you are a military member do not forget about the Blue Star museum program running all summer, it provides free entrance for you as well.
